Thoughts..

Today I read this qoute, "Yes, there will be moments of beginnings and moments of endings throughout our lives, but these are only markers along the way of the great middle of our eternal lives... Being always in the middle means that the game is never over, hope is never lost, defeat is never final. For no matter where we are or what our circumstances, an eternity of beginnings and an eternity of endings stretch out before us." Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Always in the Middle, Ensign July 2012 It just really got me thinking, we are always progressing, things are always changing, nothing will ever just stay as it is. And This is a good thing. Iv been overly sentimental as far as change recently, with being able to welcome our little one into Ben and mines simple, lovely life. I have been wanting to only do things with Ben, going out on dates and trying to suck in the last few hours, days, or weeks (who knows) until this chapter in our lives is over. But this qoute has helped me open my eyes and realize that these past 6 plus years is just apart of the "middle", We are going to keep on having beginnings and endings forever in this life, and in our eternal life when our endings come in this life. Just what I needed to read! (P.s. Update on baby girl, iv been walking around at 4 cm dilation and 70% effaced since last Wednesday.. Iv been having more contractions yesterday and today so we shall see what happens, or at least if I'm closer on Wednesday at my next appointment! )

Baby girl

Baby girl, You are trying to escape to early! You were thinking you might be done cookin, but we convinced you otherwise because you are still to little. We are SO thrilled to meet you though. Thinking that you might come so soon is getting Ben and I so excited, I was already in major nesting phase, but now since we have made a run to the hospital we have our bags packed and we are ready to go. Your daddy was being such a hoot as we were headed to the hospital this last wednesday. He was SOOOO happy! He kept taking pictures, and getting little videos of us walking into the hospital to maybe meet you. But we are glad that the contractions slowed down and you decided to wait a little bit longer, we hope at least a week so that you will be 37 weeks. I am dilated to 3 cm, and 50% effaced. I am now on bed rest, which kind of stinks but it is worth it to keep you nice and healthy. We love you more then you could know and are so anxious to meet you! Here is a pic of me at 36 weeks!

Celebrating my little baby girl

I was lucky enough to have two amazing baby showers! The first one my sister, lena, threw for me at my parents house in may (my mom and sister cari helped as well). The second one was thrown by my super good friend Katie Wilkins at her house in Sammamish this last weekend, (my in laws ginger, brandi, brooke, and Ali did all the food for this one, amazing)! I am so lucky to have so many people in my life who love and support me, and were there to help celebrate such an amazing time! Thank you Lena and Katie! here are a few pictures...I was not very good at getting pictures of who came! I am already regretting this :( The first baby shower... the hostess!!! the second one :) onsie decorating table, they turned out soooo cute!
