Weekend ness..

This weekend was so great! My sister Laynie came up from Idaho for a little visit! It was quite fun. I love my sisters! We went out to dinner and then had a group of people come to our house for a fun night of games and food. The next morning we got up early to Root ben on for his TRIATHLON! He did SO well! It was a sprint triathlon so not the full one but he did it in an hour and 11 minutes. That a boy. This is great since he barely trained for it! I was very impressed and I have officially decided that on the next one he does I am going to do it with him.. So its to the pool tonight! :-D we Did some other crazy stuff this weekend too but this does not need to be a journal entry! ha.. till later...

our first vase..

Here is the finished project of our vase we made at color me mine! I said I would post a picture so here ya go! Hope you all have a fabulous day!

Color me mine

So this past weekend ben and I went to this treasure of a place called color me mine. SO cute. After much thought, we decided to paint a vase together!! Since our front rooms colors are cream and brown with accents of turquoise we decided to paint the vase turquoise and brown.. We get it back tomorrow night and i will put a picture on here of it as a finished project.. that is if it turns out ok! ha.. but we took a couple pictures... Ps.. My hair is brown now.. Its not just the picture. :-D

i heart my family

My family came into town this weekend! I love it when they come. We had fun hanging out and taking the kids to go to fun things.. I even got to have my twin sisters come stay at my house for a girls night. Love it. Family is the most important thing in the world. Its true. I really don't know what I would do without them. :-D

be my valentine..

I woke up valentines morning with ben giving me kisses on my forhead.. then when he saw me open my eyes he ran out of the room to bring me in some presents.. haha.. he got me some adorable red flats.. red of course because its valentines day, and some cinnomin kisses... sadly he had to go to class in the morning but at 4pm he came home and took me out to dinner, and we went to see "He's just not that into you" becuase I had been wanting to see it! After that we went to cold stone to seal the deal.. Cute huh.. he still loves me! yay!~ ha..

So..... Ben and I are at wal-mart last night and we're walking down the cereal aisle and we pass by this dude with really long mollet hair and ben says,

"Did you see that!! Now that is the One benefit of coming here!"
